Director/Instructor
John is a criminologist who obtained his masters in Criminal Justice at Kent State
University and has worked in community corrections in northeastern Ohio. He
completed program reviews looking at the impact that substance abuse and
anger issues have on probationers. When working in Cincinnati in community
corrections, he began to develop programs dealing with anger management with
recovering felons. John went on to develop two Intensive out patient chemical
dependency programs in Hamilton Ohio and Akron; and has also thought anger
management skills to probationers. He is currently working in the field of chemical
dependency facilitating intensive out patient treatment using the principles found
in the Stages of Change. His ten years of experience in program review and
development has led to the creation of The MAP Program LLC.
